As restrictions on gatherings have somewhat eased in the second phase of the circuit breaker in Singapore, we’ll be launching our book club in August!

Harriett Press’s Translated Literature Book Club is a monthly book club that meets to exchange thoughts on a translated book selected for the month. Anyone is welcome to join us!

Here are the details:

Time: 4-6pm

Date: 29 August 2020, Saturday

Venue: Whisk & Paddle, 10 Tebing Ln, Singapore 828836

Book: The Memory Police by Yoko Ogawa

We’re expecting a modest turnout, and might move the meeting online if there are more attendees. Yes, please try to read The Memory Police before coming. We’ll also decide on a translated book to read together for the month of September.

If you’re keen to join us, please email us at editor@harriettpress.com by 22 August to confirm your attendance. Thank you!
